    Knowing What
    to Make

We can make almost anything now. Instantly. At scale. At a cost that would have seemed impossible only a few years ago.

That is extraordinary. But abundance changes what is scarce.

Possible isn't the advantage anymore. What matters is what we decide to do with it.

Businesses don't need more for the sake of more. They need people to choose them. Remember them. Pay for them. Come back.

That puts creativity somewhere it should probably have been all along. Much earlier.

In the product. The experience. The technology. The brand. The business itself. In deciding what is worth making in the first place.

Technology becomes ubiquitous. Advantages get copied. So the things that are hard to replicate become more valuable.

Original thinking. Judgement. Experience. Cultural instinct.

Knowing when something is good. When it isn't. And when to keep going.

Not creativity for creativity's sake. Creativity that creates value people can feel and businesses can benefit from.

Originality isn't decoration. It can create preference. Recognition. Loyalty. Pricing power. Innovation. Brand value.

You can buy extraordinary technology now. You can't buy an original culture overnight. And you definitely can't prompt your way into one.

That takes people. Time. Trust. Making things. Getting things wrong. Getting better.

Protect original thinking and judgement. Don't slowly optimise them away.

AI doesn't make creativity less important. Quite the opposite.

Technology is capability. Human ingenuity is what makes it matter.
